She probably wont be there bc of the hodgela drama going on right now but I'm really happy they finally got Brennan to like flat out say the person she goes to first for emotional support is Angela |

that line made me so emotional fuck everything. brennan acknowledging how much angela means to her to every single person everywhere is my favourite thing in the world. i mean, bren boasting about how good angela is at her job, about how she's the best (a title she usually reserves for herself lbr), about how much of a good support ange is. it's all so amazing just get them out of my face pls

Basically omg besides thew fact that Brennan knows Angela isn't the most "outwardly intelligent" person at the Jeffersonian as well as not the most rational or the person that makes the most sense, she still trusts Angela's word above almost everyone else's. Like lmao kill me.

sorry in advance for how badly worded this is it's late and i cannot do the eloquent word thing properly right now oops
i recently introduced my muma to bones, and now whenever it's just us two at home we watch some eps together and it's super cute, but tonight we were watching it and it was the scene in the woman at the airport where ange tells bren she's being tart with her etc and ange just reads everything brennan is feeling by watching her speak and their relationship is so strong that mum was like wow there's something so special between them. and then ange was like "love your guts, sweetie" and mum just. melted. she was like god those two have the best relationship i have seen on television. #brengelashippermum
now i'm sitting here falling apart over how well ange knows brennan, how with just a few words ange can bring brennan back down to earth and make her look clearly at the picture in front of her, how strong their connection and love is despite time or distance. goodbye world i am 2 emotional for this

OMG THAT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE SCENES FROM S1 BECAUSE ANGELA IS SO UP FRONT WITH HER AND IS LIKE "Sweetie, you're being a little tart, and all I'm asking as a fair question". And like if that wads ANYONE else in that main cast or just anyone in general that wasn't Angela, Brennan would have lashed out, but instead she took a step back and paused and thought her words over because she loves and respects Angela way too much to speak like that to her without at least backpedaling and apologizing. And Angrela knows that. And she knows Brennan needs time to learn and integrate, that's why she wasn't mad. She was proud of her and that " love your guts, sweetie" line has always been my fav because of all this.
