I'm kinda interested in hearing what you love abt him so much bc like even when I was in the fandom more actively I've never really heard people speak of him as a separate person from Brennan bc they always associate his actions w/ Brennan instead of just him as a person I like that he's always trying to do the right thing even if it backfires on him like 90% of the time. I like that he cares a lot about the people he loves. It's easier just to list scenes that I think really sell his character but that'd take forever bc there's 10 seasons and I don't want to go through them all. IDK he's so damaged and yet he still has faith. I think it's interesting that he focuses so much on emotions and yet he's always hiding himself from everyone except Brennan. My fav moments are when he's vulnerable because it makes him human and that's why I'm loving this gambling storyline honestly

Like when his mom comes back in his like in s8 and he's trying to figure out whether to accept her back into his life after not speaking for over 20 years or just move on and hold onto the hatred. I think part of me really likes emotional Booth scenes because they remind me of Angel and I really, really, really love Angel

And I know you don't like b/b but there's scenes with them that Booth really gets to be himself and show his true nature with her and I really like those ones as well.

There are a few B/B that hit me close every time. The s5 finale ending is my absolute favorite B/B ever. Hands down. Every time I watch it I cry tbh. And the s5 premier when he says I love you and then takes it back oh my GOD. There's a quieter side to him when it comes to Brennan. Especially when brennan's upset, like the 9/11 episode.

The s5 finale is like :/ It makes me so sad and then that song starts playing and I'm just too weak for these emotional moments lol Another Booth, B/B fav is when he's recording that video in the Twist in the Plot for Christine and he's crying and Brennan's crying and I'm crying. I wish we could see Booth in those moments more often.

He obviously has a lot of backstory and stuff and emotions but they always touch upon it and then that's it, which is why I'm veyr happy and very excited about the gambling storyline. Because it's not just a one-time thing, and it's beenr eally bringing out great scenes for him and I love them so much

Yeah people want to be pissed off at Booth but this is what happens. It's not glorified at all and I appreciate that.

OK also I just want to say one of the funniest Booth scenes ever is when Angela is looking up info for a case and Hodgins starts talking about the case but like whispers it all sexy in Angela's ear and Booth imitates Hodgins to Angela so she'll give him some facts about the case as well. It makes me laugh so much but I can't remember what episode it's from sad times

Spoilers for tonight! (10x19)
#1 Booth's Characterization of a Confronted Addict is Nothing Short of Stupendous
I hope I'm not overselling this, but Booth's scenes with Brennan were done so amazingly well that you will finally see what it looks like when an addict falls apart. David Boreanaz just ... well ... dang. Emily Deschanel's Brennan is also magnificent as she faces a truth she never thought she would have to with her husband.
I honestly can't wait to see this. It's going to be so good and I think Booth is finally gonna give in to saying he needs help.

Is it bad that I kind of want to see Booth cry? Not like in the HELL YEAH CRY type thing, but in the like, 7x04 ends cene cry of like a purge of emotions. I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity.

No, I want him to cry too lol I want to see him crumble lmao. It sounds so mean but I need the angst and the character growth that comes from storylines like these!!!
