At this point I have 2 b here for anything that gives her screen time even if it means her just talking to someone and bouncing off them for an ep. Like her very subtle storyline in 10x11 about psychics and Sweets that gave her that wonderful speech. I'm here for that any day. Or even 10x17 because she had so much screentime just bouncing off Brennan.

this pertains more to Michaela but anyway.... i just remembered that the bday project that's being organised for MC this year by michaelaconlinlove is due tomorrow (technically today for me since its 12.30 am here ahah but anyway). i really like how they've changed it this year (this is my 3rd year participating i think) - the letters to angela idea is pretty cool. so yeah, i thought i'd come here and sorta promote/remind everyone about it lol, also as a reminder to myself tomorrow morning

Wanted 2 move part of a discussion from the headcanons thread into here bc I want to talk about Angela being bisexual every day. I want to talk about how important it is to me that they, for the time they had her with Roxie, had her so fucking well represented. Disregarding HH's crap interview where he says bisexuals are confusing and he made Angela straight again, I can't begin to tell you how important Angela being queer is to me.

As sad as it is, I'm really glad they had Roxie break up with Angela because she didn't want a serious relationship or whatever instead of Angela breaking up with Roxie because she only likes men. I always feel so bad though that Angela wanted to commit to Roxie and Roxie just left :/

Exactly. I'm very grateful for that instead of the other way around. Angela was so happy with her and trying out new things like moving in and making commitments like getting a dog and going on extended vacations with each other and just things she usually wouldn't do. And yeah, Roxie LITERALLY just was like "bye". That fucking SUCKED. Because in the beginning she was pushing for it more than Angela was. And Angela was so scared and confused by it because she didn't want to hurt her, and yet, we're stuck the other way around. Up until that point in the series besides 1x17, Angela never cried before. Right after Roxie walks out of the area after she breaks up with Angela you can her Angela's voice crack and that was it that was me dying.

Not to take anything away from Angela’s bisexuality but I always thought that Roxie was a clear cut rebound scenario for Angela. She was over-committing to it because she wanted to be over the pain from Hodgins. That’s why she was doing things she wouldn’t normally do. That’s not to say Angela didn’t have genuine feelings for Roxie (they did date in the past) but her reasons for pushing it so fast were not really about their relationship. I feel like she asked Roxie to move in because she had to defend her statement to Hodgins that it was real. Kind of like how she was defending it to Sweets, who talked about need being confused with love and fantasy convincing us what we are feeling is love.
The reason Roxie ended it because she felt that Angie wasn’t really thinking long term?
I think the reason Angie was so upset was because it was the pain of 2 broken relationships hitting her all at once. IRL, I know of a few people that has happened to-- when they break up with the rebound all the feelings of pain from the old relationship they hadn’t dealt with came flooding back.
Personally, Angela’s commitment issues are very interesting because on the surface she seems so open. Sweets commented about Angela... that she always left open backdoors in relationships.

Personally, Angela’s commitment issues are very interesting because on the surface she seems so open. Sweets commented about Angela... that she always left open backdoors in relationships. This is an excellent theory but I do think I have to disagree. Angela said that all her relationships, serious or not, mean something to her. Even if she went to bed with someone for a night she always made sure that the person at least spiritually connected with her. I think the fact that she took Roxie back was only a little bit of the Hodgins breakup backfire, purely because Angela knows what she wants, and she always has. And lets say that The Skull In The Sculpture was over a 3 day period. She was talking back and forth to both Brennan and Sweets about if this should happen and her feelings about it. A rebound is usually immediate and quick and messy. She put a lot of thought into it and a lot of thought into trying new things and moving on. I don't think that has anything to do with the Hodgela breakup. I think that has to do with her wanting to grow.

I know!! I guess I just figured they would have told us in those spoilers/teasers things like when they first brought it up, like when they said she'd go undercover again, I assumed they did away with it like the undercover thing, but this is such a pleasant surprise!!!

Could you imagine. BARBARA. SUSAN. HELEN. But in all seriousness if they built up s7 before this and give us a name like... Sarah or something I might shed blood.
