Of course!! Anyone is welcome to make a thread abt anything Bones related or not c:.
Also I wanna share one of my fav B/B moments bc I don't wanna just come in this thread for that announcement.
I live for angst and I think one of the best, most sweet B/B scenes is right before Booth goes I'm for surgery to remove the tumor and he makes the doctors stop so he can say if he dies, he wants Brennan to have his child and then he says she'll be a really good mom. Every fucking time. Tears.

Oh man that scene ;__; Also I love when he's alone in the hospital room and he keeps looking for her and he looks so overwhelmed and scared and then she finally shows up and he can't help but smile. There's so many B/B scenes that I love but one my absolute favorites is when they go ice skating together. |

The ice skating scene is definitely up there in my top B/B scenes ever. But my personal favs will always be the kitchen pipe sink repairing scene in 5x02 and the final scene in 5x05. Gives me chills every single time!!

The end scene of 5x05 kills me every single time. They totally were going to kiss if they hadn't been interrupted. I love S5!B/B so much but S9!B/B is my favorite.

Omg yes ikr!! Everytime I watch that scene I always feel like I'm on the brink of pulling my hair out and/or screaming at my laptop/tv screen lol! SAME, like I know there's a larger group who prefer s5 B/B to s9 B/B but I've always loved them both equally and I literally cannot choose between them ever! Somewhere in the back of my mind, I have like a whole list of parallels between s5 and s9 B/B haha.

I love the tension in S5 but cute marrieds are my absolute favorite type of ships and Booth and Brennan were such a unit in S9.

same omg! i'm really excited for the episode as a whole but that scene is just the icing on the cake! i've read that a lot of people are hoping that the scene will be sorta happy emotional but i'm kind of hoping for the opposite just bc i love angst too much. (but then again, christine is involved and it would be heartbreaking enough already if that scene involved her crying soooooo.)

She says to bring tissues which usually means it's going to be sad sad lol I always love some good angst. And I've seen people say this whole storyline is just angst for angst's sake but like it's so necessary for B/B to grow as a couple as well as individually. It's a real issue that couples go through.

if people really think that this storyline is just for angst's sake, then they should be grateful the writers didn't go down the cheating/nearly cheating on your spouse path lol, which unfortunately, some shows do with married couples. but yeah, obvs B/B would never break up, and that's why when people get mad at brennan for kicking booth out "permanently" (in their mind) i'm always like, um, what show are you watching??? it's so obvious that she was hurting just before she kicked him out - it's something that needed to be done, not that she would ever, in a million years, would have wanted to before this (and i don't think she would have if he hadn't lied to her after she confronted him). plus there's so many comments i've read elsewhere about how angry people are at brennan after watching that spoiler vid from 10x20 - she's clearly still hurting (and hoping that he really is what he says he's doing) even if she doesn't fully show it. though imo, the part about their unborn child kicking at the mention of booth's name is, imo, partly also due to her reacting to his name bc of how much she misses him.

I'm so grateful that Bones never goes the ~cheating route~ (Especially since I started Grey's Anatomy and everyone cheats on everyone all the time) and actually let's the characters work through their problems in (mostly) mature ways.
I hate that people want to villain-ize Brennan for her decision and I hate that people want to villain-ize Booth for his addiction. I think this storyline works now than in a previous season because at any other point I don't think Brennan could have recovered from this but they've been in a stable relationship for 3 years now and they have worked through problems before and I think Brennan has the confidence in her relationship with Booth that she can give him some tough love without running for the hills so to speak.
