Oh I am glad I am not the only one that felt that way. Sweets man crush on Booth kind of annoyed me. A lot of times Booth wasn’t very nice to him or would just flat out use him. Like that scene where he emotionally blackmails Sweets into convincing Brennan to have a hospital birth by dangling the carrot of friendship. Also I would’ve preferred it if Sweets named his child after his adoptive parents instead of Seeley. Those people changed his life and showed him that good people can save other people.you're defs not the only one! the way both booth and brennan treated sweets annoyed me so much especially bc they were apparently the ones he looked up to the most and i was always like wtf is going on here. and especially booth he was the worst offender because exactly, he would just use him or just be so mean to him for no reason i was never a fan of that so called 'friendship' honestly I don’t remember any real inequality in the Brennan/Sweets relationship? I guess I felt the digs went both ways. After Sweets experimented on her about Booth’s death, I thought she was justified when she made any digs on psychology. But I felt Brennan genuinely cared for Sweets-- she was the one to open up about being locked in the trunk of the car just so that he would feel included. IRL, I don’t think I would trust someone who experimented on me like that-- so I thought it took real guts to open up to Sweets. But going back to topic... I love the Brennan/Aubrey dynamic. I loved Aubrey saying “if its my problem I can help”. Normally I would’ve wanted her tell Angela but in this case I think she made a good choice. Aubrey sincerely cares about Booth and he understands addiction. |

The Brennan/Aubrey dynamic reminds me a lot of the Zack/Brennan dynamic, but less motherly. Aubrey isn't as scientifically intelligent as Zack but they bounce off each other very well and Brennan really listens and trusts him already.

I'm loving the whole dynamic that pegs Aubrey as the FBI guy that is kind of science-y. He almost is like a go-between from the squints and Booth and I like that. My favourite part is how his understanding of it seems to be from what he remembers from high school which is relatable.
I'm living for his age jokes too. "Christine and I are closer in age" i died tbh.

I'm loving the whole dynamic that pegs Aubrey as the FBI guy that is kind of science-y. He almost is like a go-between from the squints and Booth and I like that. My favourite part is how his understanding of it seems to be from what he remembers from high school which is relatable. I'm living for his age jokes too. "Christine and I are closer in age" i died tbh. RIGHT like he takes age jokes so gracefully he's like "yeah I'm 12 and cool what of it" |

Booth would always make fun of Sweets for his age. And Aubrey is just like ... yup.. whatever. |

On a random note... I am interested in seeing how they play the Aubrey and Jessica stuff. What I really hope they don’t do is have them fall into bed straight away-- they already did that with Sweets and Jessica. If they are going to start this as a proper relationship-- i want to see an emotional connection develop.

Like i feel like the whole thing with Sweets and Jessica idk, got really screwed up?? They hopped into bed in like one episode and then sweets was having a baby with daisy the next season and then he died. I wonder what they were planning to do with that if JFD didn't have to leave. But yeah, hopefully they wont do the exact same thing with Aubrey, let's change it up a little. |

ok, i enjoyed the fact that they're taking things slowly with aubrey and jessica, its a nice change from what they did with her and sweets! And I thought they were cute together, When he suggested Booth and Brennan 2.0 haha
