I'm honestly super proud of Brennan for sticking to her guns and telling Booth to leave. Like she held her own even though she was overly emotional. And she never judged Boo for lying and gambling in the sense of that makes him a bad person, she just wants her and Christine to be safe.

It's so sad to see Brennan like this because she cares so much for Booth but she has to protect Christine and herself and the new baby, you can see how hard it is for her to kick Booth out, let me die

Exactly like it sounds like she repeated what she wanted to say to Booth over and over again before he even got home. It was so calculated and straight forward and it's like she forced herself to do it for the better

It was so hard to see both of them in this situation. God, that moment when Booth lies straight to her face after she confronts him and you can just see her fall apart a little... but still, she did the right thing for herself and Christine at the moment and I am super proud of her

I'm honestly more proud of her for being accepting in the sense of she understand his addiction. Like not once through the entire gambling storyline has she made fun of Booth for his problems like that and there are a lot of shows that don't take that seriously enough. And I'm happy they made Brennan do the right thing and support him, but also stick to what she knows to protect her family

Like she loves him so much and she was so willing to let him stay if he just told her the truth and when he couldn't do it she had to make the rational and difficult choice to make him leave in order to protect herself and her daughter. I can't imagine how hard this must be for her.

I can't imagine how hard this must be for her. Yeah, they are handling it super well imo. This could have turned into everyone bashing Booth for his behaviour - like some people on the internet *cough, cough* - but instead they are acknowledging it as what it is: an addiction over which he really has no control after a certain point. The only thing you can blame him for is going undercover as a gambler in the first place and then lying to Brennan´s face about what he´s been up to, but everything else is basically out of his control. I´m happy we get to see Booth and Brennan deal with this together instead of justing breaking them up. But I am even happier that they don´t sugarcoat the seriousness of an addiction and the tough choices you face in a situation like this.

I hope before the series ends we get another scene line in 8x24 right after Brennan asks Booth to marry him and she just finally says she's happy again and is radiating love. That's one of my favorite scenes, the one with her, cam, and Angela in the bone room. She was so happy she couldn't even verbalize it.

I've always had a weakness for gifsets/posts that showcase/talk about happy Brennan scenes now and juxtapose it with how she was at the beginning of the series-season 6, it always astounds me that we get to watch her like this now after 10 years, not many shows get that, and I'm always grateful that we get to see them.

I think the strongest storyline they could ever put out there is Brennan's depression. I mean, it's not confirmed on the show or by the actors or crew, but it's clear to me that Brennan has a mental illness. Which isn't a bad thing of course, but the progression of her manic depression slowly easing up and the progression of her learning to love herself and learning that life is worth living means everything to me.
