This hurts my soul but I understand. I was obsessed with Friends in 2006 like you don't even know. I didn't even start watching TV seriously until 2007 outside of cartoons omg. I think if I were to ever start it I'd have to e with someone who loves it bc no one in my house ever watched it I recommend watching Friends at least once in your life. It's really good. Full House was the first 'real' show I ever watched outside of Nickelodeon. I'm so loyal to Full House like wow my first love and I'm so excited for Fuller House it's embarrassing lol |

its such an iconic show, i feel like you should watch an episode or two. yeah, friends was my first real tv show love, the first series i got on dvd aw. BUt honestly the levels of bones trash that i am could be matched by my three's company status, fucking ridiculous 70s/80s sitcom, why do i love it so dearly

So I've been watching Person of Interest (as you know) and freaking out like every 5 seconds bc of Reese and Carter (as you know) lol And I just started S1 of Grey's Anatomy which I know I'm gonna regret but whatever. I'm still on s1 of POI because I'm watching so many shows. And it's kinda hard to get through bc I'm sitting and waiting for Root & Shaw, even thugh I really enjoy the show as a whole, especially Joss. Also omg I've only ever watched one episode of GA, and that's when Demi Lovato guest starred in s8 I think. That's honestly how I felt when I first started watching but now I care way too much about everyone and I want to go back and rewatch S1. GA is pretty good but I'm only on like episode 6 so. |

I really wanna find time to continue w it, especially since other shows that I've kept up with weekly (ouat, jane the virgin, nashville) just finished their seasons but i literally have no time nowadays lmao. |

I just finished all three seasons of Vikings and if you're into history type things I really recommend it. I mean it doesn't really feel like a period piece, but it has Katheryn Winnick as a main character and she's brutal as fuck and it's just so good. I only started watching it bc I have a thing for KW and women who kill ppl and are outstanding feminists like lets be honest here .. ...

Vikings looks so good omfg i am so excited to watch
Some of my current faves are The 100 (the first 5 or so eps are super!! stereotypical CW melodrama etc but then it gets better it's full of strong female characters in every shape and form, including a bi protagonist which is rad and v many people of colour. there are a few issues with it, it seems, in terms of representations of race and stuff but idk the female cast is incred and keeps me going), How To Get Away With Murder (again, like basically everything, it can b problematic but idk i love legal kind of shows as well as the drama of Shonda Rhimes sue me), and also My Mad Fat Diary is rly rad
Idk these shows are all completely different to what is usually associated with bones but like, i figured considering most of us seem to have seen / talked abt the x files etc i would offer somethin' different i am so lame goodbye

Yes, agreed. The 100 is amazing, once you get through the first few eps of melodrama. You can´t help but fall in love with all the female characters on this show. I loved the first season of How To Get Away with murder - eventhough it´s the most ridiculous representation of studying law that I have ever seen on tv - but I am kinda worried what Shonda Rhimes is gonna do to these characters over time, after I recently had to quit Grey´s because I couldn´t deal with her storylines anymore.
I also got into iZombie and Outlander this year. I really love both shows a lot. iZombie is a fun take on the usual cop drama and has really found it´s way over the last few eps. AND it has an awesome female lead. Outlander is great to watch if you´re into historical romance stuff. Lately, the episodes are getting really trigger heavy though, so you might have to look into that before you give it a go.

And now that they´ve lost their main character, I don´t really understand why the network is still pushing it so much and therefore side-lining the 100. Well, I do know: It´s because of ratings, but when you compare the quality of both shows, it´s just not fair... |

the whole ratings argument, while i understand that that's how it is, annoys me. bc that doesn't represent the promise of the show or the viewership gained in the hiatus etc. which like, can be lifted if you invest even a small sum of time / effort / money into the show idk idk i am so bitter abt everything shhh
